A recent study shows that the flu vaccine can reduce the rate of infections in children, which is important for public health and economic development.
The study, published inJAMA, looked at data from the US, Europe and Japan. It included all children from 5 to 11 years of age, and included children with severe or complicated urinary tract infections, chlamydia infections, and sexually transmitted diseases.
